 Artist Trudy "Henna Hante" holds a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. Ask her why she chooses the medium of henna her respnse is "because I like it." She first discovered henna through her attraction to the spirituality of India's dance arts and music. Through support of many friends and henna-ready individuals, what started out with some home mixed henna and a table and chairs at a local fall festival has turned into henna adornment on thousands of people every year. This website was launched in early 2001 and continues to offer much information about the art of henna, inspiring artists world wide. Now, as always, we are offering henna for brides, all kinds of party events and classes on the how-to of henna. And of course you can find us on location at festivals all over the NYC-LI-Hudson Valley areas. We even go to New Jersey!
