Henna Happiness Fills Your Programs with the Art that People want. The full Henna Art Program offered by Henna Happiness is appropriate for young adults as well as adults. Using a slide show, the beginner gets introduced to henna through various traditions, technique and design. The class explores henna design work from many different world cultures. Specific henna drawing techniques are demonstrated and students are invited to draw their own henna design. Henna paste is batched with the the class, henna cones are made and filled and each student is guided in the actual application of henna. They are then invited to try henna on their own, applying it to themselves or friends. All leave with a henna cone and a smile. This class runs on average 1 1/2 to 2 hours. You can host also host a program that involves a slide show about the art,history, spiritual traditions and uses of henna, followed by demos of henna designs for and on your guests by the artist. This program runs1 Hour+ depending on number of guests. Recent Programs: Prices vary depending on venue, number of students/guests, time, place and location. Chalkboard requested if possible. Henna Hante supplies reference books, design work, henna, and all henna supplies. Trudy Pellegrino holds a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art and has been professionally practicing the art of henna since 1997. Through her work at festivals and parties she has adorned thousands of people every year from all around the world with henna, as well as gained a wealth of knowledge and insight into the mystery of this ancient art form. She is part of a new wave of artists representing ancient mehndi in this modern age. She has written a book called "Henna Happiness" fliied with her experience from teachinhg classes, and is always working on new designs.
