Henna For Hair-

By using henna,
cassia and/or Indigo powder,
you can attain a natural color for your hair...they are great for conditioning & keeping your hair lively and fresh- and not worn out from over use of chemicals.

Imagine how anything can grow and be healthy if your always rubbing chemicals into it!

Henna, Cassia and Indigo are plants... Use henna and indigo to dye your hair, color your gray, protect your health from chemicals, and support small farmers.

At a henna program i was teaching, a woman went on with a story of how after 20 years in USA, she went back to her home village in India and discovered how vibrant and thick her friends hair was, and hers was thin and weak .  She attributed  this to her use of commercial chemical processing and chemical based shampoos destroying her scalp and hair health, while her old friends stuck to natural ways of rejuvenating  the hair and scalp with oils, and using natural coloring, such as henna, and natural shampoo.

Henna is used to condition and color the hair.
Basically on natural color brown hair, henna
will penetrate the shaft, thicken the hair, and
bringing up a radiant red glow the hair.
IUpside is that It has a very nice energy and
brings up the beauty in the hair and the wearer.
You can get a variation of colors depending on
what shade of henna you may use, and what
shade of hair you have.
It is said henna is Gods gift to woman...

Upside is that It has a very nice energy
and brings up the beauty in the hair and the wearer.
You can get a variation of colors depending on what shade of henna you may use, and what shade of hair you have.

Some folks might consider the downside if you want to go lighter or not red.
The downside of henna in hair is that it's permanent: it permanently binds to the keratin in your hair in an orange kind of way=Some have reported that Colorfix might strip it out with minimal to no damage, but the only way to get henna out without bleaching your hair to death is to grow it out.

Brazilian Henna Creme-pre-mix, in applicator bottle.
I find this a little gentler and easier.
Wont be as drying in the long run, and is best on
hair that has been not color treated.
If you have lighter hair, than this may work for you.
We have this for sale in Shop.
We custom mix colors or you can use one from the box.
We can apply it for you, or You can do it easily at home.
Great for  touch ups to gray around your temple.

Henna Powder-needs prep mixing, applying and needs to be worn
up to two hours, so we can apply it for you and you wash it out at home.
We can also recommend a henna rinse, to bring up some highlights in your hair.

INDIGO POWDER... the Natural Way to "black" henna...
This is a natural dye used the turn the hair dark brown/black.
These are the fermented leaves of the indiga plant, made into a
 powder.
It needs henna as a base in your hair.
Having henna already in your hair will make this work or
you can add half indigo half henna.
Leaves a dark sheen to the hair, not as hair highlight
enhancing as the henna. This fades more quickly than the henna.

CASSIA: Neutral or Blonde Henna:
This is an awesome conditioner for your blonde hair, Clients use this even with their hair colored.  If you leave it on for two hours, you get a thicker more enlivened version of your hair. Put in overnight, and your gray hair will have a lovely blonde tint.

If you are choosing henna for your hair, it is best NOT to use the standard drugstore shampoo.  YOu want to restore your hairs oils not strip them.
From my experience it is best to use:

Monthly Coconut Oil Treatments:

Have you ever checked the list of ingredients on the box of hair dye?

Have you ever wondered why they call it hair/die?? Well for the chemically sensitive you will find allergic reactions most notably caused by PPD, the
black chemical para-phenylenediamine dye that is extremely hazardous to your health. It is linked to asthma, non-Hodgkins lymphoma, lupus, and bladder cancer, as well as causing hair loss and horrific allergic reactions. Blistering scalp and red lumps around the neck and shoulder are signs your allergic to hair dye.
